You’re welcome to schedule your child’s first visit whenever you feel comfortable, but we typically suggest arranging it when they’re about six months of age. Even if their teeth haven’t erupted yet, it’s still an excellent opportunity for them to become familiar with the sights, smells and sounds associated with a dental practice, as well as the experience of seeing a dentist.

Promoting a healthy and optimistic attitude towards dental health and dental visits is paramount, and we aim to foster this mindset in your children as well. Our advice is to avoid discussing the dentist in a negative light, for example, bringing up injections, to prevent your child from developing any inherent fear of the dentist. Frequent visits are also crucial, as infrequent appointments can exacerbate any existing anxieties.
