Following a thorough assessment by your dentist, teeth whitening is very safe and will predictably whiten your smile to reverse the effects of smoking and dietary stains.
Enlighten is a two-week home kit that allows you to whiten your teeth from the comfort of your home using mouthguards and whitening gels. This is then followed by some power whitening in the dental chair. In just two weeks, you can have the brighter smile you’ve always dreamed of, ready for weddings, holidays or just to boost your self-confidence.

Stage 3 - Follow UpStage 1 - ConsultationDuring your consultation, your dentist will assess your suitability for teeth whitening treatment and talk through any questions you may have.
Stage 2 - TreatmentYou’ll be invited into the practice for impressions so your custom mouthguards can be made. You’ll then receive your 2 week home kit with your mouthguards and whitening gels. You’ll place a special gel into custom mouthguards which you wear every day or night for 14 nights, from the comfort of your own home. This is then followed by some power whitening in the dental chair with a higher concentration gel.
Stage 3 - Follow UpAs long as your trays fit and are kept safe, we can sell top up syringes to our patients to boost their whitening if they notice the colour starting to fade.

Yes – when carried out by a dentist or hygienist, teeth whitening is extremely safe. It is important to remember that it is illegal in the UK for anyone other than a dentist or hygienist to carry out teeth whitening procedures.
Some patients experience mild sensitivity when whitening their teeth, but this stops as soon as the whitening procedure has finished. Enlighten, however, carries lower sensitivity levels than other whitening systems available on the market. Through their specially formulated gels, tooth serum and desensitising swabs, all provided within your kit, you can achieve the smile of your dreams from the comfort of your home!
